Fluentbody & Yin Yoga Retreat

After such an incredible and nourishing experience in our first edition of Fluentbody and Yin Yoga, we are delighted to welcome you to the second edition of this powerful retreat. A week fully dedicated to the magic of your body, your feelings and the power of community awaits you.

Fluentbody is a movement method that invites you to explore how and what your body feels and wants to express. We use exercises like shaking, sensation enhancing images like floating and awareness toward our breathing to support and inspire movement in your body that wants to emerge naturally.

You can move without pressure, expectation, or the need to "get it right.” In a session, we explore different movement qualities like softness, aliveness, power and other nuances your body and mind may be longing to (re)discover – always with a specific intention in mind like “Bringing everything that you are” or “Falling in love with life through your body”.

Because of the freedom and attunement to yourself, the practice may provide access to emotional processes. You may be able to finally integrate experiences, feelings or thoughts in an empowering way.

Florencia and her team are trained somatic therapists offering a space for the expression of whatever it is that will move us during a session.

This is why Fluentbody is as much an individual experience as it is a group experience – to defy isolation and judgement and instead remind each other of what it means to be human, together. Our sessions unfold in a group setting, yet you are also welcome to book a one-on-one session if you feel the need for more personal support. In addition to daily Fluentbody and Yin yoga sessions, there will be individual somatic sessions with our experienced bodyworker André, specially designed to support your body in digesting and integrating the new information received during the program.

This Fluentbody retreat offers a profound experience, whether you have movement experience or not. Through guided sessions, you’ll discover how movement and awareness can release tension, energize you, create safety in our bodies and bring more ease into your life . It’s an invitation to find new ways to relate to yourself, others and the world.

In this retreat we combine the wisdom of Fluentbody with the restorative effect of Yin Yoga. The yoga sessions in the late afternoon invite you to integrate the experiences of the day and allow your body to deeply rest and calm down.

    Our restaurant with sea-view veranda serves delicious vegetarian food with fresh ingredients from mostly local farmers. All meals, drinks and afternoon snack/smoothie are included. Our kitchen team is happy to adjust to specific dietary needs.

  • Wellness

    Recharge in the large sea-view pool surrounded by bamboo sun beds, lounge chairs and umbrellas. Cleanse on a deep level in the Turkish bath, Finnish or infrared sauna. Treat yourself to an additional massage and enjoy the walking trails and panoramic meditation spots uphill.

  • CO2 compensation

    We love our planet and every living beauty on it. That’s why Soul Valley tries to contribute in all kind of ways to preserve this beauty. We offer only vegetarian food, with fresh biological ingredients from our own property and local farmers. We minimize waste and recycle compost for the lands. Solar panels provide natural energy. In our aim to make Soul Valley completely CO2 neutral, we will plant a tree with every booking.

Program

We start each day with a light breakfast followed by a Fluentbody practice. After a delicious and fresh lunch you can enjoy some free time in the afternoon to relax or explore the surroundings. Before dinner another Fluentbody or Yin Yoga session awaits you.

Check-in at 15:00 on Saturday. The first session starts at 17:00.

Florencia Lamarca

Florencia Lamarca spent many years as a professional dancer practicing the Gaga movement language in the well-known Batsheva Dance Company and draws from over a decade of experience as a somatic therapist based in Berlin.

She has facilitated over 1.000 individual somatic therapy sessions. The combination of these professions and her extensive knowledge in those fields are what inspired her to create her own method: Fluentbody™.

The depth of her understanding of bodies moving, feeling, expressing and healing enables a unique space for transformation and awakening of the potential that lies within you.

Connecting movement, breath, rhythm, life, and the stories our bodies tell, she authentically paves the way for people to embody their power, softness, pleasure, courage, and much more.

Sabrina Müller (resident teacher)

Sabrina Müller

From an early age Sabrina was passionate about movement. She participated in all different kinds of sports and later on became a group fitness and Pilates instructor. She also got into martial arts which led her to the ancient practice of Tai Chi exploring subtler forms of energy.

She started to practice yoga over 15 years ago and did her first hatha and vinyasa teacher training in 2017, while further deepening her meditation and healing practices.

Sabrina teaches mostly vinyasa and yin yoga and is trained in one-on-one yoga sessions. She has recently been part of leading 200h yoga teacher trainings in Brazil and Marrakech. Besides, she facilitates fluentbody, a journey through movement, breath and rhythm that helps people to be generous to their body and mind.

André Laubner

André Laubner

André is a licensed personal trainer, massage therapist, pain specialist (Liebscher & Bracht), and practitioner of the Pantarei Approach. With over 10 years of experience, he combines various forms of bodywork with coaching elements in his holistic body-oriented approach. Through individual hands-on bodywork sessions, André helps clients achieve powerful and lasting change in their lives, addressing both physical and emotional aspects through the mind-body connection.
In a captivating hands-on session, you'll learn how to reconnect with your body and harness its resources. By reconnecting to your body in a safe space and integrating your past you can release stuck emotions, trauma, anxiety, and physical tensions and use the released energy to create the life you want.
